Allison + Nick contacted me shortly before their wedding when they realized what was supposed to be a small intimate legal ceremony before their big wedding in Mexico was turning into an actual wedding. Their plan was a small courthouse service and when they found out that the naval academy had an opening they jumped on the opportunity. Deciding to have these memories documented was a wonderful idea as so many friends and family members gathered to watch them tie the knot!
I met Nick and Allison early in the afternoon as they wanted lots of portraits taken all over the USNA campus. Nick had been a part of the sailing team while he attended the USNA so we started the afternoon off there and made our way around back to the chapel. While I didn’t get to spend the entire day with these two I am still honored that I was able to help them capture these memories. You will notice a few photos at the end of a bracelet, this is a very special bracelet as it was engraved with the handwriting of Allison’s father. When she told me about this bracelet I got a little emotional just thinking about how import this memento must be to her. What an incredible way to carry a loved ones word and thoughts with you even though they can not be there. I hope you enjoy this little peek into Nick + Allison’s intimate United States Naval Academy Wedding Ceremony!
