It’s hard to believe that both of these beautiful couples were married this last weekend on opposite ends of the country. I know this blog should have been posted yesterday – however I was in the air traveling back home all day so you get it 1 days late.

When I got back to my hotel room Sunday night after an incredible, full weekend of weddings and cross-country travel, I realized what an incredible weekend this was… two very sweet couples joining themselves together in marriage in uniquely different locations yet holding one very important common factor, their ceremonies and receptions were held in places that were meaningful to the couples and will forever be a special place in their lives and their relationships.

Emily + Justin | United States Naval Academy – Annapolis, MD

Justin + Emily tied the knot at the USNA last Saturday. Justin graduated from the USNA 1 week before he married the love of his life in the chapel. What and incredible way to not only start their lives but to also conclude the last 4 years of his life while he was in school. After the ceremony the couple headed to Pasadena for their nautical themed reception where they danced the night away and toasted in celebration with her father homemade Lithuanian Whiskey. One of my favorite parts of the evening was that Emily paid remembrance to her grandfather during her families formal photographs by having me place her bouquet and Justin’s cover next to her grandfather stone. What a touch moment it was for her family!

Effie + Casey | Swiftwater Cellers – Cle Elum, WA

Effie has one of those personalities that just infects you, and you can’t get enough of her… it’s probably why we became instant friends many years ago shortly after she moved to Washington from Montana. Our friendship over the years has meant the world to me so being such a special part of her wedding day was a true honor. Effie and Casey were surrounded by Family and their closest friends, who gathered to watch them join their lives as one.

I cant wait to share more of their wedding, but in the mean time, here are a few sneak peeks to enjoy!

XOXO – j
