Over the years, brides, couples, parents and venues have all so many great questions that I wanted to compile a list and put some of them all in one place. I know there a probably a million different questions that you can thing to ask your photographer but here are a few of the most common for both weddings and engagements! I hope this helps in answering or helps to spark a new question that you may not have thought of!
Where do you shoot weddings?
Anywhere! While I am located in Baltimore Maryland I am willing and able to travel around the US as well as abroad. If you can dream it, I will go! I am passport ready and love to travel. Additionally, I have shot weddings all over Maryland, DC, Virginia, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Delaware and all over Washington State.
What travel fees apply when booking you as our photographer? If your wedding is within 100 miles (engagement session 50 miles) of 21236 zip code, there will be no travel fees. For Destination weddings, flights and hotels will need to be covered and fees will be determined case by case.
Do you offer a second shooter? Yes! They can be at your wedding anywhere from a few hours to the entire day! A second shooter is also included in 2 of my wedding collections.
Do you have back up gear? Yes! Absolutely! I come fully prepared with gear as well as an extra camera body, lenses and flashes. I also ask that my 2nd shooters bring their back up gear as well.
Do you have Insurance? Yes! If you venues requires proof of insurance I am happy to provide that to them!
Can we meet up and discuss details before I send in a contract? Absolutely! As of late June 2015 I will be meeting clients and future clients at my office located in Baltimore County. Until then, we can Skype or meet for coffee in or around the Baltimore or White Marsh area.
What should I wear to my Engagement session? I LOVE it when couple get dressed up! There is not such thing in my opinion as being to dressed up! Feel free to head over to my Pinterest inspiration board here! I made if just for this reason. The most important thing to remember is that these are your photos, so dress in a way that make you look and feel your best!

How do I reserve you for my wedding? To reserve a date, you will need to send in a signed contract and booking retainer. This retainer will secure your date and remove it from a list of available dates.
Do you shoot more than one wedding a day? No, I want my clients to know they are my top priority on their wedding day!
Can I share my photos online? Yes, absolutely! I love seeing couples share their blog posts and wedding photos online. I just ask that you credit me in the caption with “photos by Jen Harvey Photography.” On Instagram, I also ask that you don’t add any filters to the photos – please share in their original form (the square crop is fine). Feel free to use the hashtag #jhpcouples or tag me @jenharveyphotography!
